Informações gerais
Arenas
– Nas arenas os atletas irão ter à sua disposição as infraestruturas necessárias (secretariado, informática, serviço de bar, WC, primeiros socorros, resultados);
Peitoral VIII CAOM
– É obrigatória a utilização do peitoral oficial do evento, que será entregue durante a acreditação;
– Apenas será permitida a partida de atletas com o peitoral corretamente colocado no seu equipamento;
Mudanças Número SI-Card
– Quaisquer mudanças no número do SI-Card devem ser efectuadas no Secretariado antes da partida.
Sistema de Controlo
– O sistema de controlo utilizado será o SPORTident;
– A organização terá SI Cards disponíveis para alugar (necessário deixar caução de €30,00).
Tempos Partida
– Em todos os escalões, os participantes têm uma janela de tempo na qual podem iniciar a sua participação, recorrendo a uma estação “START”, que guarda a hora de partida dos mesmos;
Tempo limite por prova
– Os tempos limite para a realização dos percursos serão os seguintes:
Distância longa – 3 horas;
Distância média – 2 horas;
Sprint – 1 hora;
Fair Play
– No final de cada percurso os atletas podem ficar com o seu mapa, apelando-se ao Fair Play de todos no sentido de manter os mapas/percursos secretos para os atletas que ainda não efetuaram a sua prova.
Resultados
– O resultado final do evento será definido pela soma dos pontos obtidos ao longo das 5 etapas pontuáveis;
Prémios- VIII CAOM : Prémio para os 3 primeiros atletas de cada escalão de competição e para os 3 melhores clubes.
- Todos os atletas inscritos nos escalões de formação (W/M10 e W/M12) irão receber uma lembrança, independentemente da sua classificação;
- Seguro Desportivo
– Os atletas federados na FPO estarão segurados pelo seguro da mesma;
– Cidadãos portugueses e residentes em Portugal não federados na FPO também estarão cobertos pelo seguro da FPO;
– Participantes estrangeiros e/ou não residentes em Portugal não estão cobertos por qualquer seguro, sendo da sua responsabilidade garantir o seu próprio seguro.
– A competição rege-se pelo Regulamento de Competições da FPO em vigor. Perante qualquer caso omisso no regulamento da FPO será aplicado o regulamento da IOF.

Arenas
– At arenas athletes will find every necessary infrastructure (secretariat, informatics, bar service, WC, first aids, results);
VIII CAOM Bib
– All athletes must use the VIII CAOM bib, given during the accreditation;
– Only athletes with VIII CAOM’s official bib correctly placed are allowed to start the race;
SI-Card change
– Any SI-Card change must be done before the start in the secretariat.
Control System
– The control system used will be SPORTident;
– The organization will have SI Cards for rent (deposit of € 30.00 required).
Start times
– All classes will have a time interval where they can start with “Start” SI-Station.
Race time limits
– The race time limits are:
Long Distance – 3 hours // Middle Distance – 2 hours // Sprint – 1 hour
Fair Play
– At the end of each course, athletes can keep their map, therefore Fair Play is requested to all participants.
Results
– The final result of VIII CAOM will be defined by the sum of points from all 5 stages;
Prizes - VIII CAOM: Prizes for the first 3 athletes in each class and 3 best clubs.
- All W/M10 and W/M12 runners will receive a gift, whatever their classification;
- Sport Insurance
– Athletes affiliated in POF are covered by POF insurance;
– National and Portuguese resident non-affiliated athletes are covered by POF insurance;
– Foreign and/or non-resident athletes are not covered by any insurance. They should provide for their own security and insurance.
Rules
– VIII CAOM will be regulated by Portuguese Orienteering Federation regulation. In the presence of any missing case, we will apply the IOF rules.
IMPORTANTE: Os atletas que vão realizar o P1 têm peitoral a iniciar em 1; os que vão fazer o P2 têm peitoral a iniciar em 2; e assim sucessivamente. Apenas os peitorais que iniciam em 8 (WE e ME) têm mapas diferentes no mesmo corredor.
